Douglas County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue Current Needs List

We need help and donations of the following items.

Current Gear and Equipment Needs:

• 10 Sets of Wildland and Fire P.P.E. to outfit our increasing rescue member staff – used to support wildland fire evacuation operations
• 4 iPad tablet computers for navigation and team tracking
• Swift water rescue gear including 2 dry suits
• 4-person UTV with snow track capability and enclosed trailer – used for rescues year round
• Drone with IR capability and supporting equipment (extra batteries, charger, etc.)
• Technical rope training funds for 12 team members
